Mozilla Firefox and Opera are two free browsers other than Internet Explorer that are of high quality. Installing Firefox is painless, and it will import the IE bookmarks and works the same way Explorer works. The added bonus of having these browsers as compared to IE is that they inform the reasons as to why certain sites are dealing with issues, displays weather conditions and FoxyTunes lets you controls a music player from the browser itself. Internet Explorer though being the first of its kind to give the end-user a window to the internet world of information, it still has a couple of shortcomings like when a JSP page is viewed it's optimum viewing has to be time and again finely tuned.
